These days a CCTV drain survey (drain inspection) gives us a real advantage over past methods of trying to identify the cause of drainage problems. Rather than the expensive, slow, hit and miss drainage excavations that used to be carried out to investigate drainage problems these days we can very quickly inspect the interior of the drain to identify whats causing the problem with a simple drain survey (drain inspection).
We regularly come across drain problems that include blockages as a result of a foreign object such as a nappy, knife, toy, along with misaligned drains, silt build up, displaced drain joints, open drain joints, kinked drains and then not so commonly we have encounter old cocunuts, no gold bars or weapons yet. All of these can now be easily identified with a cctv drain survey (drain inspection) and solutions provided, often without the need to excavate.
After viewing the CCTV survey of the drain, our chief engineer B. Eng. (hons) Mining will be able to advise on the best solution available taking into account cost, necessity, inconvenience and any other important factors.
CCTV drain surveys and drain inspections are carried out for various reasons:

To confirm the integrity of a new installation prior to a client handover.
To ensure the integrity of the system prior to any work taking place in the vicinity of the drain run.
As part of a preventative maintenance measure.
As part of pollution prevention and environmental management verification.
To identify its suitability for additional connections.
The verification of a facilities or depots drainage is becoming an essential requirement as part of an ISO14001 accreditation.
We can offer a comprehensive service that will assist clients with an Environmental Impact study whether its for an Environmental Management System or as part of some general pollution prevention measures.and can assist in supplying important environmental information such as location.
It can be used to locate and confirm surface water runs and the outfalls into watercourses, or the existence of combined foul and surface water system.
It can also identify problems that with suitable remedial action should prevent flooding or pollution in the future.
